Co-Brokering
Information For Borrowers
Why is my application being co-brokered?
First - we co-broker a lot! Approximately 25% of our total business volume is co-brokered to us.
Your mortgage broker has suggested co-brokering to you in an effort to provide you with the best possible service and to obtain the most cost-effective solution to your financing needs. We frequently work alongside other brokers, always respect existing relationships and the effort that your broker has put into your application.
Our team has specialized experience in some niche lending areas which often allow us to deliver a superior mortgage result. We have processes and procedures established to ensure your mortgage is managed as smoothly as possible from application to funding, all while keeping you and your broker up to date on every step.
Our whole process is transparent, it will include an engagement letter / client services agreement, direct communication with you for required documentation and, in cases where a lender does not compensate us, a mortgage brokerage fee for our services.
Information For Brokers
At Designer Capital, our mortgage team does things a little differently.
We have established relationships with many non-traditional lending partners, as well as specialized expertise in mortgage options for challenging financing circumstances. We regularly work with mortgage brokers across Canada to provide unique and cost-effective financing solutions for clients who may not fit the underwriting guidelines of the majority of lenders. We are usually able to provide an "A" rate solution to a client who was otherwise faced with "B" products or even private financing options.
We particularly specialize in:
High net worth and self-employed individuals
Residential construction - both owner-occupied and spec development
Commercial transactions
Non-residents of Canada
Corporate borrowers - both holding companies and operating companies
Large acreage properties.
